Here's to a new year!
Happy New Year Friends!
The beginning of a new year lets us hit refresh, and hopefully move forward to better days. Covid-19 put a wrench in many of our spring, summer and fall plans on the refuge but that didn't mean the refuge was closed. All evidence indicates the refuge saw many visitors during the last year. We truly hoped you enjoyed the trails, wildlife and auto loop.
Although dates haven't been set yet for our annual Amphibian walk, Warbler walk, fishing derbies or Ghost Run half-marathon, the board is preparing for what we hope will be a wonderful 2021. On January 20th the Board met safely socially distanced and masked, elected officials, discussed our annual events and set into motion planning for 2021 activities.
